Private Mentoring Sessions

Having had many inspiring and supportive mentors throughout my life and spending twenty years teaching and mentoring within the UK education system, it has been a natural transition and calling for me to become a private mentor.

Over the years I have developed a mentoring style which is grounded, open, curious, warm, playful and focused. My intention is to work alongside you to support you in your work as a therapist in achieving your personal and professional goals.

Four key areas of our work together will be to:

  • Develop your confidence and demonstration of the key skills, qualities and stepping stones as outlined in the CI map.
  • Evaluate your CI competencies and to develop the key areas you have identified that you would like to strengthen.
  • Review your progress as a CI participant/mentee/practitioner and to help you to prepare for re/certification.
  • Embody self-awareness/reflection and confidence within your therapeutic practice, including, how to self-regulate, developing and maintaining an attuned relationship with your client and exploring which subpersonalities are showing up for you during your sessions.

You are invited to reflect on and share the areas of development you would like to focus on. Each mentee is different, so at the outset we will also discuss your learning style and how you like to receive feedback.

One approach to mentoring is for you to share a video of your work with a client along with what you would to receive feedback on. For example, you might want to develop certain therapeutic skills and qualities or you may be having difficulties making progress with a particular client. I will review a segment of your video, take notes on my observations and then we will meet to discuss the feedback together.

Some mentees want to develop their personal goals, and so our sessions would focus on gaining clarity on these and to create an achievable action plan. We would then review your progress and plan the next steps you would like to take.

It would be a pleasure to work alongside you as we co-create a safe and secure relationship based on trust, curiosity and growth.

To book a mentoring session, you can see my availability and do so directly via my Calendly page. Fees for mentoring are £90ph for a one-to-one session. I also offer group mentor sessions at the rate of £120ph for two mentees and £150ph for three mentees (a video review of your work with a client is included in the price).

I offer further reduced rates for those on the professional training programme or facing financial difficulties.

If you are unsure whether you are ready to commit to a full mentoring session and would like to arrange a free 15-minute consultation, please email me directly.
